Wow! 32 years of excellence in progress. Aloha and welcome to the Celebration of the Arts. As more of our kānaka maoli learn and hold tight to their great history, a genuine effort has emerged to never allow it to wane to a point of extinction or non-practice, as in the past.

“E Kāmau ke Kuleana…The Privilege and Responsibility Perseveres” has become the theme to ensure the torch is passed forward. By sharing our culture and knowledge, a sincere appreciation comes for all things past and prepares us for things to come. We humbly ask the next generations to inhale this kuleana and exhale its deep lessons.

Please take the time to ask questions, share, learn from, and embrace this special weekend. Aloha is given when aloha is received.
